Cyrus Interiors has specialized in upscale residential design projects since opening in Ann Arbor in 2004. We are a member of the Ann Arbor Chamber of Commerce as well as the Michigan Design Center. Our mission is to provide our clients with a finished product that fits their personality and their lifestyle. Our motto is “Your home should express you.”

Owner and lead designer Shirley Wickman graduated with an associate’s degree in Interior Design from the Junior College of Albany in New York and a BFA in Interior Design from the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago. Shirley started her career as a designer with Saks, Inc., but soon ventured out on her own. She has worked on diverse projects ranging from a high-rise condo in Chicago, a vacation home in Florida, and even a “surprise” bedroom redecoration collaboration with Jane Seymour. Shirley is an active member of the American Society of Interior Designers and is the creative force behind Cyrus Interiors’ success.

Jeff Wickman spends much of his time behind the scenes supporting the business. Jeff has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois and holds a current Residential Builders license. Jeff’s expertise lies in construction management, finance, and marketing, but he also works closely with Shirley ensuring that projects stay on schedule, up to code, and within budget.

Cyrus Interiors strives to stay ahead of the latest industry trends. Our annual trip to the Las Vegas Design Market allows us to view the latest offerings from hundreds of manufacturers, to attend seminars taught by industry leaders, and to bring fresh ideas and products to our clients. We have also worked with Eastern Michigan University and Lawrence Tech to bring in talented interns that are always providing the latest in academic knowledge and technology.
